Wedding Rickshaw Hire in Amsterdam
A decorated rickshaw for your wedding day in Amsterdam: for the two of you, for the photographs, and for short transfers between locations.
Price is on request, because it depends on the decoration, the timing, the distance and how long we wait between moments.
What we do on the day
We collect the couple and carry them between the ceremony, the photographs and the reception. We stand by during the photo session, decorated, as part of the pictures. We move small groups of guests between two nearby locations in the centre. Standby and waiting time are agreed in advance and included in your quote, so you know before the day exactly what is covered.
Decoration
We can provide flower decoration of the kind shown in our photographs: flowers along the canopy and the sides, and a decorated back panel. Specific colours, extra custom decoration and coordination with your own florist are on request and may cost extra. Tell us what you have in mind and we will quote for it.
Photographs
An open rickshaw with a canal behind it photographs well, and it moves at a pace a photographer can walk alongside. Where it is agreed in advance in your booking, we will go where your photographer wants us, including the bridges and the quieter stretches of the canal belt, and wait for the time set aside in the quote.
Your guests
Each rickshaw carries up to 2 adults, with room for a 3rd normal or slim guest. For a larger party we put several rickshaws on the same short route, so nobody is left standing.

It is quoted on request, because it depends on the decoration, the timing, the distance and the waiting time. Send us the date and what you have in mind and you will get a price.
What happens if it rains?
Our rickshaws have a roof and rain cover, so rain and wind are normally not a problem. The ride can usually continue as planned. Only in extreme or unsafe weather conditions will we contact the customer to find the best solution.
How far can you take us?
We work in and around the city centre. Pick-up is included for city-centre locations and agreed meeting points, usually within around 2 km of the centre or the main route. Further outside is on request and may cost extra.
How do we pay?
Cash, card or bank transfer. For weddings a deposit may be requested in advance.
